The Arnolds Down Trophy was presented by Mr JG Morgan & Mr GW Owen to commemorate the opening of the new course in June 1983. The competition is played as a Gentlemen’s and Ladies’ Stableford competition.

The Coronation Trophy

The Coronation Trophy was first presented to Haverfordwest Golf Club by Lady M F Howell-Walters to celebrate the Coronation of King George VI & Queen Elizabeth, 12th May 1937. This competition is played as a Gentlemen’s Knockout

Prince of Wales Investiture Trophy

The Prince of Wales Investiture Trophy was presented to the club by Mr HP Williams M.A. on 1st July 1969. The competition is played on the Sunday closest to the 1st July, as a Gentlemen’s 36 hole medal/nett competition.

The Jubilee Cup

1977

The Jubilee Cup was presented to the Club in 1977 to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of H M Elizabeth II. The competition is played to recognize the best scoring Gentleman player over the course of the Monthly Medals from January to October inclusive.

The Centenary Trophy

2004

The Centenary Trophy was presented to the Club in 2004 by Mrs Moyra Roberts to celebrate the centenary year of Haverfordwest Golf Club. The competition is played as a Gentlemen’s & Ladies’ medal competition with full handicaps from players who have qualified in earlier monthly medal competitions for the current year.

The Don Baker Trophy

The Don Baker Trophy was presented to the Club by Mr Don Baker, President of the Welsh Golfing Union, in 1994 to celebrate the opening of the new clubhouse. The competition is played as a Gentlemen’s and Ladies’ Stableford competition.

Howie & Glenys 4 Ball Better Ball

The Howie & Glenys Trophy was presented to the Club in 1990 by Mr Howie & Mrs Glenys Llewellyn. The competition is played as a Gentlemen’s & Ladies’ 4BBB stableford competition with ¾ handicap.

Leonora Laugharne Purgatory Cup

The Leonora Laugharne Purgatory Cup was presented to the Club in 1996 by Mrs Leonora Laugharne and was originally played over 36 holes. The competition is now played over 27 holes and is played as a Ladies’ Medal.

The Mixed foursomes’ cups were presented to the club in 1963. There are two Mixed Foursomes Cup’s one for the Gentlemen & one for the Ladies. The competition is played as a Gentlemen’s and Ladies’ Foursomes medal competition.
