Despite the mixed weather there has been a busy start to August !. The Summer League continued with Josh Davies winning with a net 69.The Open Mixed Greensome Foursomes was won by Jane and John Rees with 42 pts just edging out Andrea Dudden and Jason Edwards on the back 9. The Howie and Glenys 4BBB was won by the father and son combination of Greg Walters and Chris Walters with a great score of 44pts. The next round of Summer League  was won by Robin Ellis with 39 pts a(an update on summer league positions is below ). Our Lady Capt day was played in glorious sunshine but unfortunately some strong winds made scoring very tough with Alyson James winning overall with 34pts. The Seniors Yellow ball  was won by the team of Martin Charles , Tony Tuckwell and Steve Allen with 81 pts, while the Pembrokeshire Cup was won by  George James with 41 pts . The Tigers have had a great campaign so far and with one match to go have a great chance of gaining promotion back to the 1st Division next year. The Ladies Munt Bowl Foursomes was won in tough nscoring conditions by Shelia Ashton and Pat Roblin with net 78.5. The Open Team challenge was won by by Ron Bashford, Garry Morgan,Efion Bateman and Byron Williams with  a great score of 117 pts. Ann Owen won the ladies Dragon Ford with 38pts while the mens summer league continued with a win for Oliver Davies – 4 up. The Ladies Captain Cup was won by Ann Owen with 34pts while the Mens Monthly medal overall winner was Byron Williams with a net 70.  Richard Scott shot the best gross of 74.

The Texas Scramble on Bank Holiday Monday saw our final Open competition of the year , our texas scramble – this was won by Nathan Proctor, James Venables, Joseph Kiff and Jason Edwards with a net 52.3.

The Sam Barton Trophy – 3 Clubs
and a Putter Singles Stableford ended a busy August . With a great entry of 98 the
spoils were won by Alan Webster with a fantastic 40 points off 6
handicap. With Stephen Lewis running up with 39 points.
